Commuity Carol Singing – Wednesday 16th December 2020 @ 5pm Barr’s Orchard
There will be community carol singing on the fenced green area in Barrs Orchard, at 5pm on Wednesday 16th December. Carol sheets will be provided.
Please observe social distancing rules, staying with your family group, bring your own torch or lantern and, although seasonal snow can’t be guaranteed, warm clothing and waterproof footwear is highly recommended ! All are welcome.

Free Art Competition hosted by Marches Counselling Services

Marches Counselling Services are running a free art competition open to residents of Herefordshire and the Marches. Entitled “A New Normal?”, this competition, is an opportunity for people to reflect on and express creatively their experience of the Covid pandemic. Open to all ages there are cash prizes for the best entries and the competition will run throughout November and December. Marches Counselling Service has provided affordable counselling to Herefordshire residents for over ten years. They have recently received lottery funding to support those struggling with the impact of coronavirus. If you would appreciate someone from their service facilitating a discussion about managing mental health at this time, then do get in touch.

Appeal for photographs and stories relating to Tarrington
Tarrington has a local history group who meet regularly to research, preserve and interpret the history and heritage of Tarrington and its surrounding area.
The group are currently investigating the option of producing a book of historical photos and past stories relating to the Tarrington area.

Music in the Vine Garden II – Saturday 19th September 2020
After an extremely successful socially-distant event, there will be two more exclusive opportunities to see some live music in Tarrington. Due to Covid regulations, audience numbers are limited so book your tickets early to avoid missing out – there will be no ‘on the door’ admission.
Programme to comprise music for solo violin by Bach, Ysaye, Hindemith, Prokofiev and Biber.
Don’t worry – there will be wet weather contingency shelter in place! Bring your own chair/blanket and a picnic/drinks.
Hannah Roper is a former Philharmonia Orchestra Martin Music Scholar and winner of the inaugural Yehudi Menuhin Prize for Strings at Cambridge University. She grew up in Tarrington and now performs as a soloist, orchestral player and chamber musician with various ensembles in London, Oxford, and around the UK.
