The official website of Tarrington, promoting the life of the village, past and present.

Welcome

Welcome to St Philip & St James Tarrington. The church is very keen to respond to the residents of the village who have asked that more should be done to place it at the centre of the Tarrington Community. We have spent many years fundraising and planning and were very pleased to see the alteration of the church in 2014 to include a lavatory and kitchen facilities. We hope that this will enable the church to be more widely used for a whole range of village activities.

As well as looking to the future, the church is deeply conscious of its heritage, one that is valued by many who live in Tarrington. We have recently restored a very precious chancel window containing medieval stained glass. It is priceless evidence of the value that one of the earliest congregations placed on our church and it is just as important to us today. We continue to look for new ways in which the people of Tarrington can enjoy the beauty and sacred space that our church and its grounds offer. If you would like to contribute to the upkeep of the church or churchyard, please contact us.

The church is in the rural deanery of Ledbury and is part of the hop churches group.

The Revd. Mandy Williams is the village priest and Revd. John Watkins is the assistant priest. Mandy can be contacted on 07780 586846, email Mandy.williams@hopchurches.org.uk and John can be contacted on 01432 890595.

Please see Church Services for details of the scheduled services.
